St Patrick's Day Parade | March

There has been a St. Patrick's Day parade in Pittsburgh as early as 1869. On March 17th, 1869, the procession of St. Patrick was impeded by a number of wagons being unloaded at the emporium of Joseph Liebler. The newspaper states that the police would not hasten deliverymen so the parade could pass because the businessmen did such a voluminous business.

Pond Jump at 7 Springs | March

Typically held the last ski weekend of every year which is normally mid to late march, the Pond jump has been an "official" event for 6 years. However, in truth it has really been around for over 20. Art all Night | April 

Art All Night Lawrenceville is one of Pittsburgh's most popular-and populist-arts events. Art All Night Lawrenceville debuted in 1998, with some 101 pieces of art and 200 all-night art lovers, and has gained a cult-like following over the years.

The Dirty Ball | April  

Join in an evening of salacious sounds, luscious libations, and flirty dirty dancing. The evening features Attack Theatre performances and a special appearance by Dirty Burt's Traveling Western Revue. The evening features Attack Theatre’s unique high voltage dance performances - steel catwalks, elevated stages, and cozy corners all within an environment that is part Thunderdome and part loft party, making for an interactive adventure for all.

Western Pennsylvania Kennel Association Dog Show | May  

The purpose for the Pennsylvania kennel association was formed was to promote the breeding of and to protect and advance the interests of pure bred dogs and to encourage and hold dog shows, exhibitions and matches under the rules and regulations of the American Kennel Club. The first dog show was held on October 21 & 22, 1938 at the Hunt Armory. There were 757 dogs in attendance. We have held dog shows and obedience trials every year since 1938 with the exceptions of 1943 & 1945.
