St Patrick's Day Parade | March There has been a St. Patrick's Day parade in Pittsburgh as early as 1869. On March 17th, 1869, the procession of St. Patrick was impeded by a number of wagons being unloaded at the emporium of Joseph Liebler. The newspaper states that the police would not hasten deliverymen so the parade could pass because the businessmen did such a voluminous business. Pond Jump at 7 Springs | March Typically held the last ski weekend of every year which is normally mid to late march, the Pond jump has been an "official" event for 6 years.
