How to Find an Apartment in Pittsburgh

General  Advice:

1. Calling management companies between 9-12 and 2-4 will yield you the most likelihood that you reach someone at the office.

2. Leaving messages can be frustrating as you will rarely get a call back.

3. Don't give up after your first try talking with a management company. If they say they don't have anything, give it a week and call again. Tenants unexpectedly move out all the time.

4. Walk around the neighborhood you are interested in and collect as many phone numbers as possible. There are literally 100's of management companies from 1 person operations to companies that manage 50+ buildings.
